This 2018 Austrian film is available on Netflix. It is a drama, rated at TV-MA.
This film is mostly in English and German – all languages beyond German are subtitled I’m to German. It shows a certain diversity which may be good for more mature viewers, at least in clips. It does have a quick Krampus moment an hour and 12 minutes in, and there are a few different Austrian dialects to be heard.
The film begins with an act that may disturb some viewers, as it involved the plucking of a live chicken. Later, there is sexual violence associated with the living situation a woman has found herself in. Most of this is not in view of the camera, but heard and reacted to by the other women.
