This short (45 minute) sci-fi film was released in 2001. It focuses on a futuristic criminal system, where criminals are sent to the Vortex. As such, there is violence from the beginning of the film on.
It is clear that no one on the outside knows anything about the Vortex. We learn about its ins and outs along with our main character.
As our main character argues about the inhumanity of the system, this film could be an interesting backdrop of a deep discussion on the criminal system as well as morality in an upper level (probably university level) setting.
