This audio-film uses images from Wilhelm Busch’s Struwwelpeter exclusively. It goes through each short story with a musical clip and a collage of images from the book. At times the music is distracting, as it is happy like one would imagine for a children’s show, but happens directly after the often negative endings.
For those less familiar with Struwwelpeter, each story has a moral, such as: don’t suck your thumb, don’t rock back in your chair, don’t play with matches, pay attention to where you’re going, etc. One story deals with racism (Die Geschichte vom schwarzen Buben), but may not be appropriate for modern conversations on the topic (the boys are punished for making fun of the Black boy, but they are punished by being made Black with ink). Because of the musical clips between stories, it would be convenient to watch only the stories you want to be seen. Quite frankly, some of the collages are a bit disturbing, though.
