Another Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht project with his dad playing his dad, this 2008 film follows a military kid who has to move in with his grandmother due to his father’s next post being in Somalia. He deals with heartbreak, bullying, troubles with the law, and other issues that may surround good kids trying to do good things.

Our main female character is played by Sonja Gerhardt, who was most recently in Deutschland 86. She starred as the same character in Deutschland 83. As far as teen movies go, she was also in Die wilden Hühner und das Leben, but most of her work has been in TV.

While nothing is visually inappropriate until after an hour in, much of this film centers around teenage sexuality, including the bullied heavy kid watching girls on the beach and reading sex stories and the main female character being given a key to the honeymoon suite for her first time and a sex talk from her best friend. About 70 minutes into the film, one of the girls tricks her boyfriend by making him think he’s about to get oral sex. Before that scene is over, the camera shows his naked rear end, and that visual returns two minutes later (because she’s taken his pants and he’s running through the crowd). At 90 minutes in, it is implied that the two main characters have sex on the beach.
