This 2001 film is a comedy western that was inspired by skits from the show Bullyparade. It centers around Abahachi and his friendship with Ranger. Abahachi’s twin brother Winnetouch (see Karl May’s stories of Winnetou for the original fictional character) is used as a double as the two friends continue their dangerous mission to get money back from Santa Maria.
This is the same team that brought us Traumschiff Surprise and Lissi und der wilde Kaiser, so if you like one, you’re bound to like the others.
Near the end of this film, there is a shadow of male anatomy. To view with students, I simply stop the film when the group starts riding through the mine shaft. Up to this point, PG-13 humour is included.
