This 2016 adventure comedy centers around teenage gaming culture and has is currently available on Netflix. There are significant ties to World of Warcraft both in game style as well as gamer life.
Moritz Jahn plays Jan. You may recognize him from Dark. He’s mostly been in TV series since he began acting in 2010. Hannes Wegener is another familiar face to us – from Baader Meinhof Complex to War Horse, he most often plays smaller roles, however.
While there is implied nudity and game-style violence, I don’t see how it earned it’s TV-MA rating on Netflix. The German rating is 12, and there is nothing explicit here. It’s generally a decent parody film of the culture.
