Kebab Connection

This movie, released in 2004, is a comedy based in Berlin, largely focused on the German and Turkish-German cultures as they merge.  Our main character, Ibo, is a Turkish German who is obsessed with Kung Fu films.  His girlfriend is a German who just found out she’s pregnant.  (Interesting side note – this actress plays of the Turkish grandchildren in the movie Almanya, and the actor playing Ibo is her youngest uncle in that movie.)

We see several missteps along the way, cultural misunderstandings or changing ideas as the cultures merge.  Whenever things get a little too serious, we are treated with some Kung Fu scenes.

If this movie were to be rated with US standards, it would probably be PG-13.  There is nothing overly questionable in it.
