Rated TV-MA, this Netflix film from 2020 is a rom-com. It’s pretty much a typical rich girl, poor boy story, really.
Isi is played by Lisa Vicari, who we may recognize from Dark. Ossi is played by Dennis Mojen, who has only been in one other film prior to this – Traumfabrik.
Langston Uibel may be new to us. Born in London, Uibel has been in German film and television since 2008. Perhaps his most known work to date was High Society.
This film includes clips that are good at showing numbers, economics, the school system, and includes several scenes of youth speak – this ties in with a grandpa who doesn’t understand modern language for minoritized people.
While not entirely school appropriate (excessive drinking is the main offense, although there is also a PG-13 level sex scene), this film includes several colloquialisms that may be interesting for more mature audiences.
