This 2006 film is a German version of a 2005 Finnish film by the same name. It’s a sport-comedy where the soccer-players’ wives end up forming a soccer team and challenging the men’s club.
Nora Tschirner, the actress who plays Anna, the woman who challenges the men, is the same woman who plays in Kebab Connection and Almanya.
There are a few sexual situations that may be edited or skipped. They start in the bar as they try to classify a professor soccer playing woman to the women’s team. There is no nudity until towards the end of the movie, but early scenes may push beyond PG-13 as well. I’d recommend this film for the classroom only in the form of clips.
