Die Apothekerin

  • by

This 1997 film with German-film-fan favorites Katja Riemann and Jürgen Vogel follows a 30 year old woman looking for love, but has – shall we say “interesting” – tastes for a successful woman.

This film goes from almost a romantic comedy feel to a thought-provoking suspense film in the blink of an eye! It is great to view once because those twists and turns keep it very interesting.

There are some scenes with sexual content and a few with nudity which would need to be skipped or edited if used, but frankly I don’t see much educational value in the German realm for the film.
