Known in the U.S. by the name Wings of Desire, this 1987 film follows an angel watching over Berlin and its citizens and visitors. It is in both German and English, as Peter Falk plays himself.
Our angel is played by Bruno Ganz, who unfortunately died earlier this year (2019). He was acting throughout his adulthood, having been cast in such films as the 1979 version of Nosferatu, the 2001 version of Faust, der Untergang, and Vitus.
