This film holds a critical look at the milk production economy around the world. There are a few different languages included in this, determined by the location of the dairy cow farms they are working with. You can hear different German dialects within these languages.
Because of the nature of the interviews and information, clips would likely be most appropriate. This would support student comprehension of generational interviews, stereotypes, ethical considerations, economic issues, environmental issues, rural life, education and careers, and health and well-being – that’s at least one branch of each umbrella issue of the AP themes, except Beauty and Aesthetics. Because of the variety of world perspectives, this would be a good start of consider comparing priorities between cultures.
