This 2013 Michael “Bully” Herbig comedy is the story of a man who thinks he’s going crazy because he sees someone no one else can see. Another romantic comedy with a stereotypical bachelor, this time with a single mom.
Alexander Fehling plays our main character. There are several other roles you may recognize him from, not the least of which being Inglorious Basterds. He’s also starred in Goethe! and Three Peaks.
Christian Berkel is an important role as well. We know him from the Tom Cruise version of Valkyrie, Der Untergang, Inglorious Basterds, Lautlos, Das Experiment, and many other roles.
As always with Bully films, the cast is long and full of famous names. Other actors of note are: Mina Tander, Daniel Zillmann, Alexander Wüst, Alexander Schubert, and Franziska Schlattner.
There are implied sex scenes and sounds of sex early in the film (the first 20 minutes, off and on). While there is brief backend nudity, it doesn’t go into the R levels from what I can see. There are other insinuations of sexual content throughout the film.7
